Leland Conway of 630 WLAP in Lexington's pork rind protest fame is spearheading the Kentucky Tea Party on Saturday, March 21 at the Fayette County Courthouse.
The Bluegrass Institute is proud to join him and supports the effort as a sponsor.
What we hope to accomplish is to show our elected officials in Lexington, Frankfort, and Washington D.C. that the American fighting spirit will burn longer than their cockamamie programs and backroom political deals. They need us more than we need them and we say enough is enough. Our battle will not be won until government of, by, and for the people is run openly, honestly, and affordably.

I went to this tea party and all I can say is it was magnificent!! To look around at all those people who felt like I do, felt that we are sick of nobamas stupid ideas that are socialistic and just plain stupid. Anyone who is with this man, who voted for himall I ask is for you to answer me one question, How can you justify spending more money when you are out of it to begin with??? CAn you do this to your own budget? Can you write a check to pay for something and then write another one to cover that knowing you will only put yourself in the hole? How can you justify spending money when it isnt there? And to put this nation of ours into bankruptcy like obama and his cronies in congress are doing is not only a hate crime to America it is sealing the fate of every child in the future? Can you people not see this? Nobama is nothing but a socialist and wants to destroy this nation, destroy the bill of rights, destroy the constitution. The only people who voted for this moron are people who are lazy, not wanting to work to make a living, people who want hand outs, well when you bankrupt the middle class, the Nation how in the hell do you think or where do you think you are gonna get the money from when no one is working? Your motto should be why work I voted for obama. Well, the rest of us, the ones who are working and not looking for a hand out are mad,you can laugh but let me tell you something we won't go down without a fight and we will take a bunch of you idiots right along with us.
