Current taxes go to support gambling today! NO CASINO, NO RACINO and NO GAMBLING; who is the fool that thinks that gambling will help the budget shortfall? The actual return on investment on gambling is absurd, if not a laugh. No govt. can continue to perpetuate this lie and teach future generations that when you get in debt you go deeper by gambling! Many lives and families are destroyed from this perverted and confused belief. Yes, it is a moral issue but it is also a wrongheaded business policy to believe that if you do a business plan where gambling is now 1.2B it would grow to 12B, that is insane. KY Legal voting citizens do not have that kind of $$ to gamble on!
Look at the stats of forclosures of homes in others states after legalized gambling is a go, gambling (crime and alcoholism) cause horrific losses. The state has no money (now or in the future) to pay for cleaning up the mess. Runaway spending in any direction spells serious future problems for those living today and in the future. NO CASINO, NO RACINO and NO GAMBLING
