Louisville's spending transparency site

Last month, Louisville, Kentucky launched a spending transparency site designed to inform citizens about how taxpayer money is spent. The site provides a breakdown of expenses by supplier, fund, department, and description. This is great news and more cities should follow Louisville's lead

While the site does provide useful information it really is not as user friendly as it could be. There is not an option to search by keyword and the search result organization is limited.

The information could be much more useful if it was presented much like it is here.

BUT... this site is a step in the right direction and for that Louisville should be applauded.
