What did you think about the Governor’s TEK Forums?

As promised, here is a place to post comments about Governor Beshear’s Transforming Education in Kentucky Forums that were held around the state yesterday, August 17, 2010.

I’ll withhold my comments for a few days to let you, our valued readers, chime in.

Our TEK in Ashland was so Awesome!! I was so impressed with Elcorn! My first comment of my dream for students included that we not only integrate technology into teaching core content, but that we also interweave "teaching how to develop the technology itself" into our core content curriculum. THEN, they showed the film highlighting t...he three Villages at ELCORN and I wanted to stand up and shout "Hallelujah"!!!!! Wonderful Integration of Academics, Technology and Collaboration!!! WOOOWWWW!!!! They are Doing Their THING!!!!! Our schools do some awesome things also! ACTC, Morehead State Univ, the Governor's Staff, et. al. did a Fantastic job! District 26 PTA helped with Registration (along with the Boyd County Extension office)and helped to get the Word Out to NEKY counties-Nice! Brenda Martin, District 26 PTA President.
