Holding the system accountable and offering parents true choices is the only way this cycle of failure in our education system is ever going to change.
Perhaps not all parents care like they should, but there are many who would jump at the chance to provide a better educational opportunity for their children.
Just because they can't afford to write a big tuition check for an elite private school does not mean that those kids don't deserve the same oppportunity.
The system isn't currently looking out for the best interests of these children. If we don't, then who will?
