Quote of the day: TEA party senator responds to Beshear's Medicaid malarky

“In my own personal life and my own personal business, I can’t live on a pipe dream. I have to lived based on what my revenues are going to be and, if necessary, make cuts." --Sen. Mike Wilson, R-Bowling Green, responding to Gov. Steve Beshear's refusal to acknowledge that spending cuts, not wishing and hoping, will be necessary to balance Kentucky's Medicaid budget.

This is a typical anti-capalistic quote from a teabagger who is clueless about what Adam Smith, the father of capitalism, taught.

But so what's new? Republicans, conservatives, teabaggers are all feudalists. All they care about is protecting the well-being of the lords of the manor and to hell with the serfs.

That's all contrary to the ideals, values and views expressed by our founders.

Yes hempey, revenues in line with expenditures is so feudalistic. Let's just keep spending and see how the state's next call with bond agencies go. It's not like they've downgraded us already or anything.
Nonetheless ive just became a d bag by commenting on a blog post on a Saturday night. Hempey is probably a smart person with some good ideas that I could agree with. I shouldn't discount his thoughts without hearing more, just like this senator shouldn't be discounted because he was quoted on a teabagger blog.
