Taking up the cause of freedom starts with a simple vote
Based upon the dismal 10-percent turnout for this year's primary election, it appears the 'them not me' syndrome is alive and well in Kentucky. This Memorial Day weekend, let's commit ourselves not just to gripe about our nation's shortcomings, but to invest in keeping freedom's flame alive.

Apparently BIPPS is about to be 'balanced' out
Yesterday a Herald-Leader columnist/blogger posted about a new think tank based out of Berea called the Kentucky Center for Economic Policy. At the end of the post this statement is made:
Expect the Kentucky Center for Economic Policy to provide some progressive balance to the conservative Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions, based in Bowling Green.Do we really need "balance" provided for the ideas of sound fiscal policy, accountability in education, and transparency in government? The Bluegrass Institute proudly stands behind these ideas. We are proud to be Kentucky's only free-market think that provides free-market solutions to Kentucky's most pressing problems. Does liberty need to be balanced? We don't think so.

U.S. Constitution - Irrelevant Historical Artifact

Or so says Wilder Publications according to Fox News. It would seem one publishing company would portray our U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, Common Sense, the Articles of Confederation, and the Federalist Papers not as significant and binding legal and historical documents at the foundation of our free Republic but as interpretive literary works in need of a warning label.
