Drinking tea with libertarians around the water cooler

An intriguing article by Paul Thiel in the February 2010 edition of the Libertarians for Greater Cincinnati newsletter addresses not only how libertarians and the tea-party movement need each other but how by working closer together, the two streams of the liberty movement can have a powerful effect in getting "the ideas and practices of liberty" on the agenda at dinner tables, in schools and churches and around water coolers at work.

Thiel concludes with this prophetic insight: "If the Tea Party can propose necessary spending cuts without tearing the movement apart, then we will know that it is for real. If not, then we know that contemporary conservatism in whatever guise cannot save us (and only libertarianism can)."
