Feds ready to tread all over Kentuckians

President Obama doesn’t want us to understand what is in the 2,000-plus pages of health care legislation and he doesn't want to talk about it anymore. He's just told Congress to ram it through -- code to tread all over the Constitution and our freedoms.

President Obama may not want to talk about it. However, we Kentuckians have plenty of questions on each mandate, each "shall" dictate and each dollar that will be taken out of our pockets. It's our money they plan to make us spend.

Recent feedback from the people: 51 percent fear the government more than private health insurers; 56 percent oppose the proposed heath care plans.

Don’t think the power players care.

That puts us at a "Y" in the road – assume the position or stand up for our rights.

Politicians have lost all credibility. Words, words, words are yep -- just words. Don’t tread on us.

Don't look now but it has been happening for a long time. Slowly but surely, lie by lie, Washington is spending us into oblivion. Healthcare is just a much more blatant example.

Remember Obama's words about controlling spending. Apparently he can't read his own lips.

We will all pay dearly for this.
